I am a 2006 graduate of North Lamar High School. After attending North Lamar, I received my Associates Degree from Paris Junior College. After PJC, I recieved my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on ESL from Texas A&M- Commerce. Recently, I went back to school and earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am both ESL and SPED certified for early chilhood – 6^th grade.

This year will start my 12^th year in teaching. I started teaching in 2011 as an Inclusion Teacher at Paris ISD. From there, I went on to teach 4^th grade ELAR and 5^th grade Science. I then moved on to teach at Detroit ISD for 5 years where I taught 1^st and 2^nd self-contained and 4^th Math. This will be my 4th year in Math Intervention at Chisum ISD. Math is my favorite subject and I love helping find a way to help all kids become successful. 

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy singing at church, spending time with family and friends, and spending time at the gym! Some of my favorite things are flamingos and the color pink!
