I attended Stephen F. Austin State University where I earned a Bachelors of Science in Rehabilitative Counseling.  After completing my Masters in Business at the University of Houston I earned my certification in teaching from LeTourneau Univeristy in Elementary Education.  I also hold a certification to to teach elementary special education.

This is my 15^th year in education and my 4^th year teaching at Chisum Elementary!  I have also taught for 7 years at Lamar Conslidated ISD outside of Houston and for 4 years at Paris ISD.  I am super excited to be back at Chisum Elementary!  It is always a great day to be a Mustang!!

I have been married to my husband, Brian, for 26 years this January.  We have a 24 year old daughter, Katie, who lives with her new husband in Watertown, New York where he is stationed at Fort Drum.  Our 22 year old son, Alec, lives in Corpus Christie and works for our transload business.  I am also the youth pastor at Immanuel Baptist church and in my free time raise Goldendoodle puppies!
