I graduated from Paris High School in 2000. In 2004, I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Texas A&M University – Commerce. I completed the Alternative Certification Program through Texas A&M University –Texarkana in 2017. I received my Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction in 2020 from Texas A&M University-Texarkana.

I am certified in Core Subjects for both, grades EC-6 and 4-8.
I began teaching at Chisum ISD in 2020, where I taught 5th grade math.
I began teaching in 2016 at North Lamar ISD.
I have been married to my husband, Jeremy, for 18 years. We have four children. Colton and Jeffrey, now adults, live in Paris. Colton is an ex-marine and works at the Lamar Co Sheriff Dept, and Jeffrey is a mail man. Jaxon is 16 and will be a Junior at Chisum High School, and Jera is 14 and will be a Freshman at Chisum High School. I have three cats: Bella, Pheonix, and Zoi; and two dogs: Roscoe and Lulu.
When I am not teaching I enjoy going to church, spending time with my family, singing, and running.
