Educational Talent Search

Dear Student and Guardian,

Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally funded TRiO program and is completely FREE for the student participant. The goal of the program is to assist students with completing high school and attending the college/university of their choice right after high school graduation. Students selected to participate in the program will benefit from a number of program services designed to support student achievement. Educational Talent Search provides academic, financial, college, and career guidance to students. ETS also provides ACT/SAT fee waivers, college application fee waivers, college tours, career enrichment trips, free online tutoring and more.  

If you would like to be considered for the Educational Talent Search program, please answer the attached application completely. Your application cannot be processed if it is missing information. All information will be kept confidential. You should then turn the application into your school counselor (or designated school official) within one week of receiving it or as soon as possible. Your counselor should complete the appropriate section, attach your transcript and then send it to the Educational Talent Search office.

You will be notified of your status once your completed application is received by our office and processed.  If admitted, you will begin meeting with an Educational Talent Search Advisor approximately once a month at your school during the school day. Due to COVID-19, your Educational Talent Search Advisor may call you or schedule a video chat meeting in place of an in-person visit at your school. During these school visits, the advisor may offer information and guidance.
